Erin and Steven’s first date didn’t quite start off as perfect as Steven would have liked. It was Steven’s first time driving over to Erin’s house, and Google Maps sent him to the wrong place so he ended up being a little late. Opps! But once Steven got to the right place, Erin challenged Steven to make her and her roommate, Dan, some awesome Mojito’s. Erin’s roommate was a big foodie and was taking Stevens cocktail making skills seriously, so the pressure was on Steven to pull some great Mojito’s out of the bag! Thankfully he did and the guys headed out for the first official date, to a Sinatra Soiree party! At the party the guys just talked and talked in their own little world until they suddenly realised the band at the party had finished. Steven says they knew they just clicked that evening and he might have known some day he was going to marry Erin… but in Ireland? Maybe Erin’s name was a clue! The guys day was filled with awesome locations - Steven had made a mission of creating their perfect day and had driven a lot around Ireland during the planning. The wedding ceremony was in the historic and beautiful Ballintubber Abbey, a stunning church with it’s white washed walled. Then the couple were back to Ballina to the stunning and romantic Belleek Castle, where the sunny weather welcomed them and their guests for the evening. We had an awesome day with Erin and Steven, whose 100 plus guests had all flown in from the United States to share in the couples special day. It was our first time working with wedding planners Waterlily Weddings and the fantastic Orla Jennings who had the day organised to the T. And we were delighted to be back working alongside wedding photographer David Frain again, always a pleasure sir! To Erin and Steven, we hope you treasure the wedding videos for a long time to come, and we wish you and your families all the happiness and love in the world! Thank you again for having us along to capture these special moments for you.
