We knew from our first call with Courtney and Kevin that they were going to be a brilliant couple to film. The guys had booked their Adare Manor wedding before it closed for refurbishments and were one of the first couples back in the stunning wedding venue for an unforgettable day. We were excited to revisit the venue too, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The only thing we couldn’t plan was the weather, but it broke during the day so we could get outside with Courtney and Kevin and film some great clips of the couple together. But even when it did rain, it looked spectacular on film. This Adare Manor wedding video has definitely raised the bar for other Manor Houses & Castles around Ireland. One funny story Courtney and Kevin’s told us about their relationship was on their first date. Kevin arrived at Courtney’s parents house to pick Courtney up. Walking out of the house, Kevin assumed the buff man in the garden was Courtney’s dad, who he reckoned was checking Courtney out, a bit weird he thought. Fast forward and over dinner, Kevin has to ask, “Was that your Dad checking you out as we were leaving?”. “What?!”, Courtney replied, “NO! That was the gardener!”. Well crisis averted, Kevin enjoyed the date a lot more from that point and has enjoyed every other one since, and from his face in the wedding video, he enjoyed the biggest one of the all the most! Adare Manor is built for the wow factor and the styling in the ballroom was second to none, with beautiful floral displays and 5 star service throughout.
