Yvonne & Shaun’s engagement story is so us. Kinder Egg. Check. Couch. Check. Dragging a proposal out of him. Check. It’s actually one of the funniest engagement stories we heard in a while. Shaun had hid a surprise engagement ring inside a Kinder Surprise egg and one night in front of the couch he gave it to Yvonne (Shaun obviously had his own to eat, you know, to keep it real). When Yvonne opened the egg, she found a beautiful ring inside, which looked like real diamonds. But Shaun said nothing. So not wanting to be premature, Yvonne put it down on the table, but couldn’t stop glancing at it. Was it real, was it not?! Honestly - what a way to tease your better half. Thankfully, Shaun relented (at some point!) and told Yvonne it was a real ring! Fast forward, and the couple had the most magical of days between Tipperary and Offaly. Even though the weather wasn’t the best, we still managed to catch a couple of breaks in the rain for some stunning outdoor shots. Yvonnes old shed proved useful and surprisingly beautifully lit during the worst of the showers. A short trip in Shaun’s other love, his Peugeot 206 GT, to see his grandmother before the reception topped off an emotional day.
