Lisa & Duncan are friends of ours, so when they asked us to shoot their wedding this past May we were delighted and honoured. Lisa is Dublin born and bred, but she had to travel halfway around the world to find her man Duncan in Australia. The couple had met on a faithful New Years Eve (early morning really!), with Duncan hurting his leg and having to be pushed around in a shopping trolley. Since then the couple had settled on Dublin as their home, with wedding bells to follow not long after. Duncan, as all true Ozzies do, cooked the boys breakfast on his BBQ before strolling down to the church to watch Lisa walk up the aisle to him. The National Botanic Gardens provided a beautiful backdrop for the couple’s bridal session and then a lot of fun was had later that evening at the Keadeen Hotel, where Niamh Kavanagh and her band danced everyone late into the night. A great day all round!
