Emily & Francis

Cinematic Wedding Video in Castle Leslie, Co. Monaghan

What I love about a wedding is it’s ability to strip back all the convoluted things that make individuals separate and instead showcase the simple, fundamental love that two people can have for each other. And that’s how we approach all our wedding videos. We want to get to the core of the couple, and let that shine through, and I think in this video Emily and Francis definitely shine through.

Even if you don’t know Emily and Francis, you will feel like you do after watching this gorgeous video. And honestly, I’d say you’d be about 90% there. You’ll know that Emily has an amazing smile and likes a laugh (or two). You’ll probably also know that Francis is as sweet a gent as he is a good cook (Sue says Francis makes a great breakfast. I better watch out!). And you’ll also know that the pair, while having a super taste in style and locations, is also firmly about family and community, with the entire wedding hosted in their home county, the Oriel county of Monaghan.

And community wasn’t just in location. Francis we learned plays a pivotal role in the county’s GAA and the entire wedding was well attended, and well versed, by GAA loving friends and family. They even sang him a coincidental Happy Birthday. With the sky piercing St Macartan’s Cathedral, the regal Castle Leslie estate as backdrops, and Irish dancing lead by Emily’s niece Orna, we loved filming every minute of this special wedding. Emily & Francis – we wish you a lifetime of love and laughter together and thank you again for choosing to have Hitched Films as your wedding videographers – it was an honour.
