Aisling & Ronan

Cinematic Wedding Video in Dingle Skellig Hotel, Co. Kerry

Is there anywhere prettier in Ireland than Dingle? A place of intense, shifting beauty, spectacular mountains and staggering cliff edges, Dingle provided the perfect backdrop to the wedding of Aisling & Ronan. Neither originally from the area (although full of love for Dingle) Aisling prepared in a charming rented cottage a couple of minutes’ drive from her husband-to-be Ronan who got ready in the picturesque Dingle Skellig Hotel, the location for both their ceremony and reception.

Bridal preparation was relaxed and fun. The weather, typical of a late October day, was as the weather man would say, mixed. Not that it mattered a bit! The couple were happy to brave the elements for a few quick outdoor shots. The intimate ceremony was held in the hotels Coastguard Conservatory, with its breath-taking views of Dingle Bay. Supported by a string quartet, the couple made their vows surrounded by those closest and dearest to them.

As the daylight began to fade the party kicked into action with the reception in the equally stunning Skellig Suite with its panoramic view of Dingle Bay, terrace and landscaped gardens leading down to the shores edge. Speeches done, and dinner had, the entertainment arrived. And we mean ARRIVED. Function band extraordinaire ‘Till Death Do Us Party’ had the whole room up from the first beat, culminating in the bride and groom taking part in some impromptu mic-stand limbo. A great day for all. Many thanks Aisling & Ronan for choosing Hitched Films to capture these memories for you, we had a blast!
