Last November we had the pleasure of shooting Jenna & Gordon’s wedding day at the Killashee Hotel, and boy was it a magical day. Gordon had painstakingly restored a 1974 Citroën DS Pallas to a beautiful condition for the day and to take his soon to be wife to the ceremony. It was such an amazing piece of work that we had to dedicate the opening moments to it and Gordon’s craftsmanship.

A few miles down the road, Jenna got ready with her mum and dad at home. You can tell from the video that Jenna was thoroughly enjoying her morning preparations. A happy and relaxed face greeted us both when we first arrived, and it stayed that way throughout the day. How could it not with Jenna’s infectious smile beaming all day. Jenna’s Dad also a little overwhelmed when he saw Jenna in her dress for the first time.

After the ceremony, we made it back to Killashee just before dusk and both Jenna & Gordon had more smiles and laughter during their photoshoot. Killashee offers magnificent views over the Wicklow mountains and Kildare countryside. A brilliant, but I’m sure time consuming, idea Jenna & Gordon had was to put custom polaroids of each guest at their place setting. The laughs and cheering from those old photos of the guests started the night off right, and the immense dancefloor, which the whole the couple’s wedding party put to good use, kept it going.
